Pour la suite, il dit vouloir rester humble pour le reste de la compétition. El Tactico a révélé que le Sénégal venait de faire que deux matchs, et qu’il en reste encore cinq.
« Mes joueurs ont fait un bon match. Ils ont respecté les consignes. Mon regret est d’avoir pris un but. Mais je suis content du résultat. C’est difficile de promettre quoi que ce soit aujourd’hui. Le match contre la Guinée est important. Il faut garder cette humilité. On vient de faire deux matchs. Il nous reste encore cinq. », a déclaré Aliou Cissé en conférence de presse.
