Et même si la Côte d’Ivoire a fini par se quaifier, le vide laissé sur l’angle de défense par Odilon Kossounou a joué sur les hommes d’Emerse Faé.

Sur son compte X ce dimanche, Odilon Kossounou a tenu à adresser un message au peuple ivoirien. Dans son message, le joueur du Bayer Leverkusen est revenu sur sa mésaventure et en profiter pour s’excuser.
« Je tiens à m’excuser auprès du peuple Ivoirien ainsi que mes coéquipiers pour cette erreur en cours de match. Celle-ci n’était pas volontaire et je ne suis navré d’avoir laissé mon équipe. Je suis fier de ce groupe, des guerriers qui ont combattu jusqu’à la dernière minute. », a-t-il écrit.
