Retenus parmi les 27 Éléphants sélectionnés, Sébastien Haller est victime d’une entorse à la cheville, tandis que Simon Adingra a blessé aux ischios jambiers. Alors qu’ils ont entamé le stage de préparation hors du groupe, les deux attaquants poursuivent leur récupération et les nouvelles sont bonnes. C’est l’assurance donnée en conférence de presse ce vendredi par Jean-Louis Gasset, qui annoncé leur absence face à la Guinée-Bissau.
« Tout va bien pour Haller et Adingra. Nous avons passé les IRM. Nous allons voir les échéances pour l’un et l’autre. Toutes les échéances seront respectées. Sébastien Haller ne sera pas dans le groupe pour le premier match. Entre le premier et le deuxième match, il y a cinq jours. Nous verrons. Je suis très objectif avec Sébastien Haller et Simon Adingra. », a-t-il confié.
