Et s’il y a de quoi être heureux quant à l’état d’esprit de son groupe, Cissé est particulièrement inquiet pour les cas de blessure.
Il s’agit des cas de Boulaye Dia et de Seny Dieng. Le sélectionneur national ne rassure rien quant à la présence ou non des deux joueurs durant la CAN. « Le groupe est en train de se mettre au complet. On a récupéré Idrissa Gana et Youssouf Sabaly. D’autre part, les médecins sont attentifs sur le cas de Boulaye Dia et de Seny Dieng. On fera le point après le match (contre le Niger) pour voir leur situation physique. Il n’y a pas de précipitation à avoir. Nous sommes conscients que leur état de santé avance. Mais si ce sera suffisant pour être dans le groupe définitif ? On fera le point après le match contre Niger. », a déclaré le technicien sénégalais.
Le Sénégal ira en Côte d’Ivoire avec 27 joueurs
Si pour l’heure rien ne rassure quant la santé de Boulaye Dia et Seny Dieng, Aliou Cissé rassure tout de même qu’il y aura 27 joueurs pour le voyage vers la Côte d’Ivoire. « En tout cas, on partira avec un groupe de 27 joueurs compétitifs. », a-t-il conclu sur le sujet. Les deux intéressés sont donc avertis. Ils pourraient finalement être remplacés au pire des cas.
Pourtant jeudi dernier Boulaye Dia confiait que tout allait de mieux en mieux pour lui. « Mon état de santé s’améliore actuellement. Je suis dans la phase où je fais beaucoup de vélo. Il y a du mieux. Les choses iront mieux. », avait-il déclaré. La décision finale revient à Aliou Cissé.
