Dans le but de se préparer pour la CAN 2023, les Taïfa Stars de la Tanzanie se regroupent en Egypte. Le stage doit démarrer à la fin du mois de décembre 2023.
D’après nos informations, la sélection tanzanienne ne devrait plus camper en Algérie. Le stage va plutôt prendre corps en Egypte. Les Taïfa Stars lanceront les préparatifs pour la CAN le 30 décembre 2023 au pays des Pyramides. Ils vont travailler sous les ordres du sélectionneur Adel Amrouche et de toute son équipe d’encadreurs. Faut-il le souligner, le staff bénéficiera de l’expérience de Rabah Saâdane qui vient d’être nommé conseiller de l’encadrement technique de la sélection tanzanienne.
Un deuxième stage n’est pas exclu
Selon les rumeurs, le sélectionneur Adel Amrouche voudrait que son équipe soit soumise à deux stages de préparation. Un premier aura certainement lieu en Egypte, alors que l’autre n’est pas encore bien défini. Les Taïfa Stars étaient annoncés en Algérie dans un premier temps. Peut-être que cela est toujours d’actualité pour Amrouche et son équipe.
Tout compte fait, ce sera après le 7 janvier 2024, date de la rencontre amicale entre la Tanzanie et l’Egypte. Ce n’est qu’après cela que la délégation tanzanienne pourra décamper. Ceci en vue d’un éventuel deuxième stage de préparation ou en vue d’un voyage directement en Côte d’Ivoire. Pour rappel, les Tanzaniens affronteront les équipes de la RDC, du Maroc et de la Zambie au premier tour de la CAN.
