La CAN 2023 démarre le 13 janvier prochain. Les 24 sélections qualifiées font la queue afin de rejoindre la Côte d’Ivoire avant le début de la compétition. La délégation camerounaise est déjà sur le sol ivoirien et enchaîne les entraînements. Ce jeudi, le sélectionneur des Lions Indomptables a décidé de s’adresser aux fans. Rigobert Song a invité les fans à les soutenir pour la CAN 2023, puisque le Cameroun a son mot à dire dans la compétition.

« J’invite tout les fans de l’équipe du Cameroun à supporter les Lions Indomptables qui vont aborder la compétition bientôt. On compte énormément sur vous. Apportez-nous ce soutien, parce que nous savons que nous avons notre mot à dire. Je compte sur vous et je pense que ça va aller. À bientôt », a déclaré Rigobert Song dans une petite vidéo publiée sur les réseaux sociaux.
C’est pour la première fois que Rigobert Song dirige les Lions Indomptables à une Coupe d’Afrique des Nations. Cependant, le sélectionneur Camerounais a déjà dirigé l’équipe lors de la Coupe du Monde 2022 au Qatar.
