Dans le groupe B, les Requins Bleus se mesureront au Ghana le 14 janvier au stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny. Un stade d’une capacité d’environ 30 000 spectateurs. Ensuite, ils y affronteront le Mozambique (19 janvier) et l’Égypte (22 janvier).

L’équipe dirigée par Bubista n’a eu qu’à peine sept (7) jours de préparation au Portugal. Pendant ces 7 jours, elle n’a affronté que la Tunisie en match amical (officiellement).
