Blessé et incertain depuis quelques jours pour la 34e édition de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations en Côte d’Ivoire, Gana Gueye répond bien présent. L’ancien joueur du Paris Saint-Germain a bien honoré à la convocation du sélectionneur des Lions de la Téranga, Aliou Cissé. L’international sénégalais s’est bien remis de sa récente blessure en club et a pu rejoindre le camp des Lions ces dernières heures.
Dans des images divulguées sur X, on voit Gana Gueye très heureux avec ses compatriotes qui sont venues l’accueillir à son arrivée au camp. Un très bon signe déjà pour Aliou Cissé qui dispose désormais de toutes ses armes pour aller défendre le titre en Côte d’Ivoire.
Le Sénégal face au Niger lundi
C’est donc à un jour du match de préparation du Sénégal contre le Niger que Gana Gueye a fait son arrivée. Les Lions de la Téranga joueront en effet demain avant de prendre le vol pour la Côte d’Ivoire. Les hommes d’Aliou Cissé joueront leur premier match dans la CAN le 15 janvier face à la Gambie.
