La sortie surprenante du Sénégal en 8e de finale de cette CAN 2023 profite bien en France. Du moins, pour les clubs de Ligue 1 qui vont pourvoir récupérer les jeunes talents des Lions de la Téranga.

Grand favori et champion en titre, le Sénégal ne soulèvera pas le sacre de cette 34e édition de la CAN en Côte d’Ivoire le 11 février prochain. Ceci, puisqu’étant éliminé par le pays hôte en huitième de finale 4-5 lors des tirs au but. Une grosse déception pour les Lions de la Teranga et le Sénégal. Toutefois en Europe, particulièrement en France, cette élimination est bien accueillie. Elle constitue en effet une bonne nouvelle pour les clubs de ligue 1 qui vont pouvoir récupérer de nombreux joueurs plus rapidement que prévu. Ce sont au total neuf clubs français (+ un joueur de Ligue 2, le Troyen Abdoulaye Ndiaye).

Ainsi, l’OM va récupérer Iliman Ndiaye, Pape Gueye et Ismaïla Sarr. Monaco de son côté va retrouver Ismail Jakobs et Krepin Diatta. Enfin, Nampalys Mendy (Lens), Formose Mendy (Lorient), Mory Diaw (Clermont), Lamine Camara (FC Metz) retourneront respectivement dans leur différents clubs.

Le malheur des uns fait bien le bonheur des autres comme on le dit très souvent.
