Mabululu a signé le 3e but des Palancas Negras à 66e minute, permettant ainsi à l’Angola de s’imposer face à la Namibie sur le score sans appel de 3-0.
Cette victoire offre à l’Angola le tout premier billet qualificatif pour les quarts de finale de la CAN 2023. Mais pas que ! Cette victoire des Palancas Negras face à la Namibie symbolique également la toute première victoire de l’Angola dans un match à élimination directe dans ce tournoi. Pour rappel, avant la CAN 2023, la sélection nationale angolaise a respectivement disputé les CAN 1996, 1998, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2019. Parmi ces huit précédentes participations, les Palancas Negras ont atteint (sans les huitièmes) les quarts de finale des éditions 2008 et 2010 où ils sont respectivement éliminés par l’Egypte (1-2) et le Ghana (0-1).
