Moment solennel ce mardi 09 janvier 2024. Les Lions de la Teranga ont reçu le drapeau national des mains du Président sénégalais Macky Sall cet après midi avant leur départ pour la Côte d’Ivoire dans le cadre de la 34e édition de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations.
À quatre jours de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations, l’équipe nationale du Sénégal a vécu dans l’après midi de ce mardi, un moment solennel. Il s’agit en effet de la cérémonie officielle de remise du drapeau national par le président Macky Sall au capitaine des Lions de la Téranga, Kalidou Koulibaly. Cette cérémonie marque dès ce mardi le début de la défense du titre de champion d’Afrique sur le sol ivoirien pour la bande à Aliou Cissé.
Moral dopé pour les Lions de la Teranga
Durant la cérémonie de remise de drapeau national il fallait bien évidemment que le président du Sénégal revienne sur le parcours au Cameroun il y a deux ans récompensé par le premier sacre de l’histoire des Lions. Et il ne pouvait également pas se passer de pousser les hommes d’Aliou Cissé à ramener le deuxième sacre une fois de retour de la Côte d’Ivoire. La CAN du Sénégal est donc lancée. Le premier match des Lions est prévu pour le 15 janvier prochain face à la Gambie.
