Il a rejoint Fulham, un autre club de la Premier League anglaise. Les Cottagers ont annoncé la signature de l’ancien sociétaire des Gunners sur le compte officiel X du club.
Le montant du transfert n’a pas été divulgué par Fulham. Cependant, les rumeurs évoquent une somme avoisinant 22 millions d’euros. Alex Iwobi s’est engagé avec les Cottagers pour une durée de 05 ans. Il est ainsi lié au club jusqu’en 2028. Une nouvelle aventure s’annonce pour le milieu de terrain des Super Eagles qui a hâte d’évoluer sous ses nouvelles couleurs.

Il a par ailleurs confié avoir eu au préalable une discussion avec le coach de Fulham Marco Silva. Ce dernier lui a fait part des ambitions du club. « Marco Silva m’a parlé des ambitions du club et je suis à bord. J’espère pouvoir apporter quelque chose au club », a conclu le désormais ex sociétaire d’Everton.
