Les joueuses Camerounaises ont eu deux semaines d’entraînement sous les ordres du sélectionneur adjoint Hassan Balla Abdoussalami. Ce dernier a fait ce travail avec un groupe élargi. À l’approche de la rencontre du 4e tour des éliminatoires du Mondial 2024, les U20 dames du Cameroun sont fixées. Elles savent désormais les joueuses qui participeront au double match contre l’équipe de l’Égypte.
Le groupe du Cameroun comporte 22 joueuses locales
Le groupe des 23 Lionnes Indomptables est dominé par des joueuses locales. Trois joueuses arrivent de Lekié FF, le club vainqueur du championnat féminin du Cameroun. L’Éclair FF de Sa’a compte 4 joueuses au sein de la tanière, tandis qu’Amazone FAP dénombre 7. La seule joueuse du groupe qui évolue à l’extérieur est Lamine Mana (Le Mans FC/France). Il faut rappeler que la double confrontation face à l’Égypte aura lieu le 12 janvier à Alexandrie et le 21 janvier au Cameroun.
